KAETO

Born in Scotland and raised in cities such as Glasgow, her childhood was marked by a nomadic lifestyle that led her to also live in places such as Leeds, Texas or Barcelona, which broadened her cultural perspective from a very young age. Currently based in London, Kaeto has built an artistic identity deeply influenced by this mixture of experiences and by her interest in psychology and the human condition.

From a young age, Kaeto showed creative concerns, writing songs on the piano and combining texts with sound, but it was not until later that she found a way to explore issues such as identity, anxiety or self-image in music. Her passion is born precisely from that need for personal expression, turning her experiences into intimate and experimental compositions.

Her beginnings in the music industry date back to 2019, when she began recording in the studio and shaping her own style. In 2022 she released her first single, Good Morning, a letter of introduction that already showed her introspective approach and her ability to mix genres. Shortly after, songs such as No Body or U R MINE arrived, where she consolidated an aesthetic that combines trip-hop, alt-pop, electronic music and punk touches.

Her growth was fast: she signed with Polydor in 2023 and in 2024 she released her first mixtape, INTRO, an eight-song work that works as an artistic identity card. This project brings together songs such as ALMA or DISTANCE, which reflect both her sound evolution and her ability to transfer complex emotions to an accessible and contemporary format.

As for her projection, Kaeto is emerging as an artist with great potential within the alterative, experimental genre. Her ability to break down gender barriers and her conceptual approach place her in a privileged position inside a new musician’s generation who prioritize authenticity over commercial formulas.

Far from being pigeonholed, her hybrid proposal and her constant creative search make her a role model in the indie and alternative scene, where everything points to her continuing to develop a career marked by evolution and originality.
