To Parquesvr, rock is a weapon, a volatile rock, viscous, with an intense and addictive flavor, that, jokingly but very seriously, or seriously but very jokingly, transforms its own humor into a new form of sharp rock: somewhere between punk mayhem, the most sarcastic protest songs, post-punk anthropology, and extreme theater.
Their songs, always played at full volume, celebrate Lance Armstrong, talk about failed romances, criticize old croaks and those who cry every time a famous singer dies, and even leave particularly acidic political messages.
Between sarcasm, irony, acerbic wit, and down-to-earth directness, Parquesvr manages to approach a kind of collision between electronic music and punk, simultaneously making their eyes at Sleaford Mods and the Beastie Boys.
Music brimming with political bile, but also a snapshot of the most reactionary aspects of Spain. A collection of anthems and, at the same time, a resounding slap in the face, and now they’re taking a giant leap forward in every way with their new album, scheduled for release in the spring of 2026.
